★★★★★ A truly special village pub! Although it had been a little while since our last visit, we were welcomed back like old friends. Everyone was so warm and friendly, and it was lovely that they remembered us. We were given a wonderful table near the open fire, which, on a wet and windy day, made the whole experience feel wonderfully cosy and inviting. The starters were gorgeous, and the seasonal specials were exceptional. There’s so much thought and care put into the menu. Everything is beautifully prepared, using fresh, seasonal ingredients, and served piping hot! And the desserts? Simply sublime. Absolutely delicious and worth saving room for! The Cat Inn isn’t just another country pub. It’s a glorious restaurant tucked inside a charming, historic village inn, combining exceptional food with genuine warmth and hospitality. A real gem, and somewhere we’re always delighted to return to.

Food was brilliant. They catered to our 2 small children and were brilliant with our puppy, who had his first outing to a restaurant/pub. The staff were lovely and we’d definitely recommend the Hatch Inn to anyone visiting the area!

Great to be back in the Dorset after their recent fire, Excellent service, a memorable White Lady cocktail to start off with and special mention from my party of 4 for the Mushroom Risotto and the Roast Grouse with all the trimmings. Look forward to returning soon.

Sunday Roast, 3 of us for lunch, two of us went for lamb and I had Cod, all the meals were top quality, best bit of cod I have had in long time. well kept beer, Lovely busy atmosphere, great staff, have no criticisms at all. Keep it up Three Crowns, looking forward to our next visit, it can be hard to find a really good Sunday roast pub these days.
