We went for lunch. The staff were friendly & efficient. We had different mains.. short rib, pork , & monkfish. All delicious, the new potatoe s were also good thehot bread & tomato butter was tasty. I had the battenberg cake as a ⁵ was a nostalgia hit ; it was delicious.. I liked the ambience of the place & will return when I next visit Newcastle.

This little gem has to be the best lunch/ late afternoon restaurant in Newcastle and it would take some beating to anywhere in the UK Food and service absolutely brilliant ! Looked after by Liz and Francesca  Make it top of your list for a visit

Great meal. Our server Kiko was attentive and everyone was very friendly to our dog. We visit our local Pho in Kent regularly and we were happy we visited Newcastle pho

Really nice pub. Really good atmosphere and really friendly staff. Really good food. If you have not been before give it a try and I am sure you will go back.

We had an amazing time with our friends,the staff was very friendly,food was amazing!! The portions are huge and we didn’t expect it because as we know it’s quite expensive everywhere but this place left us amazed. The prices were sooo good for what you get. Oh and the social bird lager was so refreshing and very tasty. We are impressed and we will definitely go again!!!
