Five stars does not feel like enough for Ash. From the moment we sat down on Water Street, the experience was flawless. We went with the chef-curated four-course meal and every plate was divine. The Italian-inspired cooking here is precise without ever feeling fussy, and the seasonal, ingredient-first approach really shows. Each course built on the last, beautifully composed and bursting with flavor. The service matched the food. Attentive, warm, and clearly proud of what comes out of that kitchen. The room itself is intimate and inviting, the kind of place that makes a special night feel even more so. If you are in Tampa and want a meal that lingers in your memory, book Ash and let the chef guide you through the courses. Easily one of the best dining experiences we have had in this city. We will be back!

Great experience between the food, service and atmosphere!

This was my first visit to the Tampa location, as I'd been to the Land O' Lakes restaurant once before. The hummus appetizer was plentiful, fresh and superb. The same can be said for the cocktails and our entrees of spinach mushroom ravioli and shrimp scampi, which had a nice little level of spice to it, a surprise. My date had the same drink (strawberry-balsamic martini) and entree (ravioli) that she had on our previous visit to the Land O' Lakes location. Evan, our waiter, was personable, knowledgeable, excellent. We intend to be repeat customers.

Malia took great care of us at our couples dinner out! The rosemary frybread with ricotta, pine nuts, roasted garlic, & truffle honey was outrageous! So crisp on the outside & fluffy inside! The Amarone wine & smoked old fashioned were delightful as was the homemade cavatelli with sausage and creamy lobster pappardelle! Our only regret is we were too full for dessert! Thank you Malia & the whole team at Ava for another stellar dining experience!
