We had an amazing time tonight. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and the staff was ready to take care of us for the night. After being seated, they took our coats and we were immediately greeted by our server. He ensured waters were coming and talked through our initial drinks with us. After that, everything happened at the right moment every time. After we received our drinks (el primo martini and a bottle of wine), our food orders were taken and our food came out quickly. We had the Cesar salad and Wagyu carpaccio to start, both were delicious and I loved how the salad was wrapped in scallions with jasmine rice croutons. Fun play on a Caesar salad. The carpaccio speaks for itself… came out looking amazing and when combined with the sauces was even more delicious. We then had the sea bass and elk tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful when just eating the meat or when combining them with the mash or noodles. Awesome dishes that we recommend. We wrapped up our dinner with the tres leches, tea, and espresso. The dessert was light, fruity, and a pleasure to eat. The tea and coffee were great to end our night. Throughout the night our server was constantly checking in and providing insight into our meal or what was next. Really appreciated his level of care, it showed. This was our favorite meal of our 4 nights in Santa Fe… nothing was even remotely close. Absolutely a must eat!

We had an overall amazing experience at Izanami. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable about both sake and whisky and curated a beautiful flight that highlighted the depth and character of each pour. The atmosphere, service, and thoughtful guidance made the evening feel special from start to finish.

Gabriel’s is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to dine on our (almost) annual visits to Santa Fe. Celebrated my wife’s birthday on a Wednesday. Service was great, drinks tasty and the food exceeded all expectations. Everything our party of 4 ordered was delicious. The churros were so delicious that we were still talking about them two days later. And the guacamole made tableside was well-worth the price. Will definitely return.

New seasonal menu is stellar. The sea bass entree and the charred octopus starter were incredible. Drinks and desserts were delicious. What sets this restaurant apart though is the service. Friendly, knowledgeable, available and intuitive staff really make this place special. Quite frankly the best staff I have encountered in Santa Fe - a city know for quality dining!

We celebrated our 50th anniversary at Buffalo Thunder and dined at Red Sage for convenience. The chef and his assistant Zach took extra care to prepare our steak to perfection! A manager then prepared a delicious chocolate mousse decorated with strawberry hearts! Our waitress was great as was her assistant. Highly recommend this location!
