Located in the heart of Eau Claire, Alforno offers weekend brunch service from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Reservations are available from 8:00am to 10:00am on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. After 10:00am, seating is walk-in only and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.During peak periods, we kindly ask that guests limit their visit to 90 minutes from the start of their reservation.We also offer an Afternoon Tea Experience daily from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, inviting guests to unwind with freshly brewed teas, house-made pastries, and finger sandwiches. Afternoon Tea is available by reservation only at $45 per person, with bookings required at least 24 hours in advance.

The Japanese film Tampopo was marketed as the world’s first “ramen western”. It’s the story of two truck drivers, Goro & Gun, who use their culinary expertise to change the fate of a struggling noodle shop. Those two characters' passion for noodle-making lives on at Calgary’s 150-seat noodle bar — led by executive chef Ryusuke Araki. Located inside Stephen Avenue Place, upstairs on the Plus 15 level, the restaurant melds modern art graphics with distinctive hardwood and right angles of Japanese decor. Tuck into a steaming bowl of ramen with our house-made noodles, made even better with an aji-tama egg. Or depart from noodle fare with house specialities like tuna poke or pork steam buns. Our menu boasts a variety of vegetarian, gluten, and dairy-free options. Whenever possible, dishes are prepared using wild fish instead of farmed. The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests. Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

    I am very happy and pleased with the whole experience. The booking process was very friendly and accommodating. The personnel was very attentive and considerate. The food was of a good quality and tasty, though the sandwiches(bread slices) were a bit dry on the top. A good variety of savory and desserts. Most of all we were pleased with the cost. $45 per person is just right. The jam and clotted cheese are delicious. The scones are pretty good too. I can't really say anything negative. Thank you Alforno for such a wonderful very first High Tea experience.

    Had the afternoon tea experience with a friend. The food was delicious! The staff are friendly and offered to take a photo of us commemorate our time. The atmosphere was outstanding as the whole hotel is themed around Oscar Wilde. Definitely will be back!
