Michelin-recommended since 2022."We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind-of-a-bistro and kind-of-a-diner with an internationally inspired menu which is representative of the diverse cultures in Toronto.Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.     It’s hard to find Portuguese restaurants (why? We need more in Toronto). The food was incredible. It was my second time here a d the second time I ordered the squid salad - it’s a must. We had delicious wine, seafood rice, chicken and the best dessert I’ve had in a while. You need to finish off your meal with the malasada. I can’t wait to go back. Service was also excellent. The staff is welcoming and provided us with recommendations. Thank you!
