The menu is not extensive but reasonable, and we enjoyed a delicious starter followed by a pork dish, both presented beautifully, fresh and very appetising. Our chocolate dessert was heavenly. We sat outside and the view was amazing. Top marks to the staff who were friendly, attentive and welcoming.

We booked outside table in advance and, as luck would have it, it was a rainy day. However, we quite enjoyed eating outside along the river under cover anyway. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our discussion with our server. Great, attentive staff even though we were only table outside that night.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. We were outside in the orangerie (which is covered). The soup starter was particularly delicious but everyone enjoyed their food and it was very good to be so close to the garden with two younger children with us. The children's menu was good. Service was excellent, a big thank you to Peter.

Birthday dinner with my friend. Haven’t been here in quite some time but have to say I was impressed with the updated decor, food and service. Can’t comment on value as my friend paid as it was my birthday Would definitely visit again

I really like the guys working behind the bar, very friendly but also knowledgeable. I don't live in Oxford but I'll be sure to visit here when I'm back. We had a very nice lunch and a nice old school pub, which I hope people come out and support.
