Food for Friends is nestled in the beautiful and historic South Lanes, just 2 minutes from the sea. The restaurant specialises in tasty, simple vegetarian dishes using fresh and local produce. The restaurant has secured a place in The Good Food Guide 2016 and also won the Brighton and Hove Foodie Awards 2012. The restaurant caters for people with special dietary needs, there are vegan and gluten-free options for many dishes on the menu, as well as freshly baked vegan and gluten-free breads, cakes and scones every day.

Pho Brighton is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in phở, the Vietnamese noodle soup and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles, and fresh salads too. Our starters such as summer rolls and spring rolls are perfect for sharing with friends and family. We also offer an entirely gluten free dessert menu with dishes like Pandan waffles, condensed milk ice cream and a Vietnamese affogato. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular dietary restrictions. We are also accredited by Coeliac UK. Aside from our lovely food we offer a brilliant range of healthy juices, as well as delicious wine and beer, and a fantastic cocktail menu too.     With a new and invigorated menu, terre a terre is back at doing what it has done best for decades, serve amazing vegetarian/vegan food at a reasonable price considering the quality you receive. If you've never been then absolutely go, and if you've not been for a year or more, then absolutely go. Thanks.

    Staff were very, but not overly, attentive, friendly and had clearly read the notes I made on the online booking form, ready with the requested cushion for my elderly mother. Food was excellent. Cocktails delicious. We will definitely be dining here again.

    The food was very good. The only downside was the accessible toilet was out of action, which my husband uses as he has Parkinson’s Disease. Otherwise we were very satisfied.
