La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversized iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal. The wine list encompasses all regions of Italy with few of the best American and the rest of the world.

Kimberly's was established in June of 2014. The people behind it have been mainstays in the industry, on Block Island and New England, for decades. We always strive for the freshest, most local ingredients. We have a wide variety of seafood dishes, fresh salads, steaks, and pasta dishes. Fall Hours: Open 5-8 pm Wed-Sat. You must cancel 24 hrs in advance or a charge of $15/pp will be incurred. Same if you make and cancel reservation on same day or no show.Kimberly's Catering can host large parties , the most sought after off-site caterer on BI (it's true, ask any local!).

    We had a lovely lunch at the Black Whale. The food and cocktails were delicious, the late afternoon vibe was easy breezy, and our server, Alex, could not have been more pleasant and professional. Truly a joyous meal.

    A quiet dining experience in a relaxing, tasteful room was just what we needed. The food was excellent— the zucchini fries were perfectly crisp, the frisée salad perfectly dressed, and our main courses of veal and and ravioli were very flavorful. The food felt authentic, in contrast to some of the new Italian cuisine that is needlessly cooked with extra fats and cheeses, leaving one feeling unpleasantly full. We would definitely recommend La Masseria, and plan to visit again.

    The Sunset Specials are amazing - especially the Lobster & Fillet. The staff are great too - most especially our waitress Rushell. She was friendly, efficient and fun! The live music was a perfect accompaniment to a very tasty dinner - I highly recommend!
