Lyla is an upscale Italian-French restaurant in Toronto’s Queen West, near Ossington and Trinity Bellwoods. Led by Executive Chef Danny Kim and Sous Chef Seungho Jeon, with experience in Michelin-recognized kitchens and international travel, Lyla serves contemporary cuisine with subtle Asian influences.The menu features oysters, caviar, premium Japanese seafood, fresh pasta from Famiglia Baldassarre, Prime steaks, craft cocktails and an extensive wine list. Join us for date night, a special occasion, business dinner or weekend lunch. Lunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 12–5 p.m., with a $49 three-chapter menu for groups of any size.For birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dinners and group celebrations, $115-per-person set menus are available as shared family-style plates or individually plated courses. Private dining includes the Gold Room for up to 20 guests and the intimate Grotto for up to 6. Lyla also hosts cocktail receptions and full restaurant buyouts in Toronto.

    One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto! The food is consistently excellent, but what really makes Lunch Lady stand out is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. I brought my mother here for her birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special. They even took a Polaroid photo of us and gave it to her as a keepsake. Such a thoughtful and personal touch! What I appreciate most is the atmosphere the staff creates. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. It feels less like visiting a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home. Great food brings you in, but it's the people and hospitality that make you want to come back. Highly recommend!

    We ate the 3 course meal. We had the shrimp and zucchini fritters, steak, and chocolate cake. All were amazing! The steam literally melts in your mouth. Our reservation was for 6:30p around the end of October which was the perfect time to catch the sunset and see beautiful views of the city.

    We visited as a group of six and tried a variety of cold appetizers, wine, and cocktails. Everything was excellent, especially the fish crudo and tartare. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and every dish was superb.

    Both my bartender and server were lovely. They were extremely attentive and kind, and they made my post-race meal feel special. I found the tasting menu to be a good value and perfect for what I needed after running a couple hours. The cocktail I had was also fantastic and one I would come back for.
