This was a great experience. Our Open Table reservation was perfect here. We walked up to the host/hostess station, stated the reservation and they seated us right away. The server was great and our food was prepared perfectly. The red wine that I had was great. The butter cake dessert was delicious and well prepared. Thanks!

We heard about this place from a staff person at our nearby hotel. It isn't fancy to look at but the food was excellent. It was a quiet night. Our server was very attentive and he talked to us about their food and some of the ways it is different. The selection was great, making it hard to decide what to get. We opted for the artichoke appetizer, the lasagna and the pappardelle al brasato. The artichoke were wonderful. We have never had that presentation before and we loved it. The wife ordered the lasagna. The portion size was huge (easily sharable) and we both deemed it the best lasagna we had ever eaten. My papparedelle was so flavorful. Once again, not a preparation you find in a lot of restaurants and a very large portion. Just thinking about the meal is making me hungry. Fortunately, we have leftovers. I think it's time to eat them. Yum. I wold love to have some place like this in my home city. I guess I'll just have to come back to San Diego more often.

Great restaurant in a hidden area right off I-8 near a bunch of apartments. Found it on Open Table and we had a great meal. Fantastic waitress. The food was great. I'm not a drinker but there was a very interesting drink menu. Highly recommended for lunch and happy hour, I assume.

Had Octopus as a starter and seafood main course. Amazing and great service,good wine selection as well as a really nice IPA. Highly recommend a visit here.
