We had an excellent time at MAD. Our waiter was Rafael and he was perfect. He was able to make changes to our order when my daughters had changed their mind about the doneness of their meat. He also accommodated my families requests. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We will be coming back for sure.

This was our second visit to Rumi’s and it was every bit as good as our first visit. Our server, Denis was knowledgeable, friendly, and provided exceptional service. We tried a few different things and they were all delicious. The corn “ribs” are spectacular! This is quickly becoming our favorite restaurant in Houston!

Jorge is a true hospitality professional and provided stellar, attentive service. Immediately pleased with the oil/garlic/herbs dip with the most delicious focaccia bread basket. The portions are generous, but most importantly, the flavor is truly authentic Italian. I am Italian and felt right at home with the cuisine. Everything was expertly prepared and done to perfection. My husband had a squid ink pasta with shrimp and calamari. I had cannellini beans, grilled artichoke hearts and pasta Norma . We took a lot of leftovers home. All of the staff were so personable. The server of the other table, Mike, spoke to us quite some length and the owner Shannon shared some warm and welcoming conversation as well as homemade lemoncello .  oh my goodness… What a treat too speak to him and to experience that appertiif!! it was our first time here and we will certainly return and bring our friends and family!
