Namaste Village, which brings authentic Indian flavours to the heart of Norwich, was inaugurated in 2016 after we shifted operations from Opie Street. Built inside a former church school, the restaurant has been revamped in a way that honours the history of the structure from the outside while capturing the spirit of our Indian traditions on the inside. We are one of the first high-end traditional Indian restaurants in Norwich that is purely vegetarian and has dedicated vegan options.

Recently refurbished, the welcoming décor pays tribute to Stratford’s most famous former resident, William Shakespeare as well as incorporating a nod to its owners, the historic Brewing House, Davenports which was established in 1829.
