Had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday! The food and service were excellent. What a difference to the pub — it’s so lovely to finally have a decent local right on your doorstep.

Enjoyed our Sunday lunch. I had wanted to try the nut roast after a recommendation from someone and wasn’t disappointed. Friendly servers were very accommodating and looked after us very well.

Such a special hidden gem. Fantastic atmosphere, genuinely warm/ attentive service and deliciously innovative dishes. What really sets it apart is their bio-conscious ethos: starting at using every part of the animal grown at their own and neighbouring regenerative farms down the road, to the ancient flour grown on their fields and milled on site every day, and locally foraged ingredients in both the food and drinks. Highly recommend and definitely worth a detour every time!!

This was our first trip to the bar. The staff where very attentive and friendly. The service was amazing nothing was to much trouble. The food was the best we have ever had dinning out. Great value for money. Will definitely be revisiting. Thank you all so much, my mum is in a wheel chair and access was very easy. Great job all round in fantastic surroundings.

It’s great to see this pub open again. It is such an amazing building and location. The new owners are doing a great job and the Thai pop up kitchen serves great food. A local classic car club were back for their second visit in a month, so it must be good! Only two things to note, they were quite busy when we went, and I believe they had a couple of staff missing, so service could have been faster, but we weren’t in a hurry, so no problem. The other thing is that vegetarians are very limited for choice at the moment. You have to ask for a vegan Pad Thai specifically, or you might get fish sauce and prawns! Apart from those teething problems it was excellent and we will be back!
