    My fiancé, his parents, and I just had dinner here, and it was an incredible experience! We made reservations for 6:00 PM and were seated promptly. The cocktails were divine, and the short ribs, cod, and duck were all absolutely scrumptious—with special emphasis on the duck, which was outstanding! The hospitality truly made the evening special. Ryan Nguyen, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and he surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our engagement. Our server, Natalia, was attentive, sweet, and on top of everything throughout the meal. Thank you for making our engagement celebration even sweeter. We can’t wait to come back!

    We had a great experience at Roka Akor!!! The hosts made sure my requested for a quiet table in the bar was honored due to some hearing challenges after 30+ years in the music industry :-)!!! The Shishito peppers were amazing as an appetizer and we enjoyed three rolls - California, spicy tuna and tempura prawn - all delicious, with the tempura prawn our favorite. The Blood Orange Margaritas - our favorite type - were delicious and even more enjoyable, as you don't see that type of Margarita much. I'm sorry I didn't get our server's name, but you can look on my check. Please note she was a PERFECT server in every way - personable; attentive; engaging, etc. She and her team could not have provided a better experience - as evidenced by the 40% cash gratuity I gave her. Our only regret is your restaurant is some 30 minutes away from our respective homes in North Scottsdale. However, we do frequent the Grand Hyatt once or twice per month to enjoy their live entertainment and will put Roka Akor back at the top of our list! Thanks again, Bud McLarty

    They made our daughter’s swim graduation so special! Every one was so kind, even with our two year old that didn’t want to sit still. So welcoming and it was fun to get out of the house and celebrate her. Thanks Nobu Scottsdale!
