In its bright and colorful restaurant, Alcalde serves modern Mexican cuisine with upscale flair in its friendly, Guadalajara-area eatery. The tostada de atún tuna piled on a crisp tostada with guacamole and radish and the tartar of smoked tomato juice, scalded egg yolk and pickled vegetables make unique and tasty starters. Some of Alcalde's specialty entries include the smoked octopus with vegetable risotto, the duck in adobo sauce with shrimp, chilies and eucalyptus and the juicy steak in pan jus.Alcalde's coconut parfait with raspberry ice cream, elderberry juice and cilantro makes a perfect end to a delectable meal.

    WOW!!! Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! Food, ambience, decor…I was literally blown away. We got a tour of the restaurant and the sister fish restaurant next door as a courtesy! You can order at both places, no matter where you eat. I will literally come back to Guadalajara for this restaurant!!!
