Taverna is a restaurant inspired by the classic taverns of Southern Europe, located inside an early 20th-century historic house in Mexico City’s Colonia Juárez.The experience revolves around fire, charcoal cooking, and the act of sharing. Led by chefs Emme Prieto and Chris Domit, the menu is designed for the center of the table, featuring carefully sourced ingredients and a cuisine focused on flavor, technique, and the natural rhythm of a long meal.The beverage program includes a selection of more than 50 mezcals and agave distillates, alongside a curated wine list with over 100 labels selected by an expert beverage team.The space flows through intimate dining rooms, a central patio, and a lively bar that carries the energy of the restaurant throughout the night with cocktails, wine, mezcal, and music. Taverna works equally well for dinners with friends or more intimate evenings, always within a warm, relaxed atmosphere designed for staying a little longer.
