I was with a friend who is vegetarian…her favorite burrata and tomato salad was no longer on the menu. The roasted Brussels sprouts were delicious. I had the lobster roll….In comparison to Brine it was adequate but lacked claw meat . The homemade potato chips were delicious.

I think this the best restaurant on St Armand’s Circle. The service was impeccable, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious, with a varied menu of Trinidadian, Chinese, Indian, and seafood prepared fresh after you order. When in the Sarasota area, this is a “must” stop.

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Baker and Wife. From their flexibility in changing the number of attendees and the time due to travel schedules, to the impeccable service from Marios, and the incredibly delicious variety of meals, it was the perfect experience. Thank you to all. 

Beautiful space in tastefully updated historic building. Food is good quality and well presented and our waiter was outstanding. We loved that the sound level was actually peaceful. Only concern was that our wedge salad contained ingredients not listed on the menu. One was bacon. Since many folks have food restrictions, we suggested they list everything on the menu. They were receptive and understanding. Would definitely return!
