The Bath Arms is located in the heart of Cheddar and just a short walk away from Cheddar Gorge and caves. We serve lunch and dinner, and offer exceptional accommodation in the form of 6 beautiful ensuite bedrooms. Awarded 2AA rosettes for the last four years in a row for our restaurant and 4 gold star inn for our hotel in 2017, we work hard to provide our guests with the highest level of customer service and a quality experience across all aspects of the hotel. We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. This is why we regularly appear in OpenTable's Top Ten Best Restaurant Lists. We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

    Had a wonderful stay,spa and pool were nice and cozy.. Food in vellore was topnotch and great service from kabita and team... Thanks to the operational manager Nilesh for great customer service and gratitude,will be back soon...

    Booked a table for Tuesday 13 October, on 1 October, confirmed it, twice the day before. Arrived at the venue to find our table had been given away. Staff and management were apologetic and a free round given for the inconvenience. Food was great but a little slow arriving, atmosphere was good and drinks were reasonable priced. Overall, other than the booking fiasco, the night was good and the Swans won !!

    Great food and a great place overall. Will definitely return and will recommend. I would have put 5* but I think the restaurant needs a sign on the building as it took us a while to find it once on site.
