In 1996, two restaurateurs took a single Forrest Gump monologue — you know the one — and turned it into a shrimp shack on Monterey's Cannery Row. They figured if Bubba could rattle off 21 ways to cook a prawn, the world could probably eat them.Turns out the world could. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.™ became the first (and only) casual restaurant chain born from a movie property, and grew to 38 locations across the world.We figured we owed the locals more than a cut-and-paste of the US menu. So we kept Bubba's recipes, the gumbo, the prawn boil, the coconut prawns, and let the bay write the rest.We don't think dinner needs to be quiet. Or fancy. Or short. We could only stay in our original digs for so long. To keep pace with the ever-growing demand for the freshest beer possible, brewed on-site, we've taken the leap once more with our new venue in Buderim. This is now our home for all beer and beers-ness, and we couldn't be prouder of the space we've created. It's a place that falls somewhere between a brewpub, a production brewery, an American BBQ restaurant, a function venue, and a local's hangout. Open to the public from Wednesday through Sunday, beer is brewed on-site every day.     Loved our lunch, our waitress Rose made the experience. She was friendly, helpful and her attention to detail was appreciated. It was so refreshing to have real customer service by someone who enjoys what they do. She is a great asset to the team. Food was delicious and plentiful.

    We had an amazing experience at Outback Steakhouse Aspley! The customer service was absolutely outstanding, and the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was delicious, and the serving sizes were very generous! I forgot to ask the name of the gentleman who looked after us, but he was Filipino and had slightly long hair. He provided exceptional customer service and really made our dining experience even better. A big shoutout to him for doing such an amazing job! Everything exceeded our expectations. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back! ❤️

    Our first time at The Thirsty Beaver was an awesome experience. Booking was easy, and the service and meals were lovely and the salad was beautiful and fresh. The lunch menu was extensive and very well priced; $30 for a meal with a glass of wine or a beer. Can't beat that! perfect place for a Sunday lunch. BTW the 18 hour ribs were delicious... Highly recommend this restaurant.
