We are a small family business in Norwich, but our love for pizza began long before we arrived here.Our journey started back in 1980, in a little kiosk in Italy called “Panino Pizza”, where our family discovered a lifelong passion for pizza and italian street food.
What began as a humble "chiosco" grew into a cozy restaurant in Italy and in 2016, brought us to Norwich with a dream to continue our tradition.
For over 50 years, Mamma has poured her heart into perfecting every recipe—stretching the dough by hand, crafting rich sauces, and baking pizzas with patience and love. Her dedication is the secret behind every bite at Saporita.
Today, we proudly serve pizza by the slice baked in a pan, along with freshly made focaccia, panzerotto, piadina, and generous Italian taglieri. At Saporita, our passion for pizza lives in every slice, offering a true taste of Italy in the warm, welcoming heart of Norwich.

A beautiful village pub recently fully restored with a historic beamed bar, cosy snug room & elegant restaurant. A classic English beer garden and seating area to the front are great for Al fresco drinking and dining. 8 Brand new bedrooms opened during the summer 2016. We are proud partners with Lacons brewery and feature their range of top quality craft Ales.Our food features traditional favorites as well as some interesting and great tasting contemporary dishes. Bar snacks and nibbles together with starters, mains, puddings and a children's menu ensures there is something for all tastes and occasions.
