Sylvia's Soul Food Restaurant was founded in 1962 by owner Sylvia Woods, known as the "queen of soul food." Menu options provide many of the soul food favorites such as a slab of bacon with eggs, and combination rib meals. Patrons of Sylvia's Restaurant can choose from menu categories such as from the griddle, the kid's menu and even a dessert menu. There's something for everyone each day of the week at Sylvia's Restaurant. Harlem-style happy hour is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Soul senior Tuesdays give senior patrons 15 percent off their meals. Wine-up Wednesdays offer customers a nice soul meal with wine and music. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, guests can enjoy a special treat with Harlem's world famous gospel brunch.
