Welcome to The Stile Bridge, we have recently re-opened under new ownership and management following our sister restaurant "The Poet at Matfield".
We serve food lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, serving drinks & Bar snacks all day.
We source all our produce locally, finding inspiration from South America, Asia, South Africa and Europe to bring together a "New World" menu with Wines from across the earth to compliment your meal.

Good food in noisy (rock music) not very well decorated pub, not a fine dining experience, the chef's talent is wasted

Truly fantastic Sunday roast. Everything was brilliantly cooked. The roast potatoes (a real bugbear of mine) were properly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Great veg too. Will definitely be returning.

Top marks for the Halibut but the pork belly was tough and dry.

The food is always exceptional. The meat and fish cooked to perfection. The lobster tortellini is wonderful. This is a gem of a restaurant modestly nestled on the outskirts of Staplebridge. Previously the quality of the food was let down by eclectic staff - but not any longer. The service was polished. Accommodating without being intrusive and warm. 10/10

Starter was fantastic, and nice atmosphere with a few full tables. It emptied out, and the atmosphere flattened as did the food. Mains were over thought out with too many things going on and sadly didn’t quite work, and the desert menu felt like an after thought, with standard pub deserts. In fact the tart tatin we had was very disappointing, pastry not crispy and flaky enough. Disappointing after the starters set the bar so high, the rest of the meal failed to hit the same mark.
