If you want great food with a beautiful atmosphere this is the place. The restaurant is the most beautiful restaurant I’ve been to. Not only is the architecture beautiful the views outside with the river are beautiful as well.

This is a 1 1/2 drive for us and is an absolute treasure! The singular Elijah McLean mansion beautifully restored paired with excellent cuisine - what could be better?

Very dissapointed in our experience. We were started to the side of the main dining area and there was no atmosphere and felt like we got forgotten. Low light, but not in a good way, no background music, very little attentiveness from wait staff, we all just felt like going to sleep. Food was adequate, but for the price it’s disappointing there is not even bread service or anything like that. Not a premium dining experience as advertised.

Our waiter Joe was very attentive and provided for our every request. All food was good except the Chicken Parm/Chicken was over cooked around the edges. First time here since the remodel, a exceptional update to historical Washington Estate

As always the food and service were excellent. So many great choices on the menu, it is hard to choose. The warmth of the decor is so inviting. It was such a beautiful day, my daughter and I went upstairs and sat out on the balcony to enjoy the warmth and beauty of looking over at the river.

This was our second visit. Food is very good. Somehow our waiter never showed up. The bartender ended up taking our order. Hope this was a one time fluke
