NorthPark’s # 1 restaurant has made its way to Maple Avenue 😍 @joeyrestaurants I had the chance to attend the soft opening of JOEY Maple not long ago and this might be one of the prettiest new restaurants in Uptown 🖤 In true Joey fashion, they greet you with a glass of champagne upon arrival. 🥂 We tried a little bit of everything, including: 🖤 Cajun Blackened Chicken 🖤 Chicken Parmesan 🖤 Ravioli Bianco 🖤 Bang Bang Chicken 🖤 Herb Crush Salmon 🖤 Spicy Crab Dip My standouts were definitely the Cajun Blackened Chicken, Salmom and Bang Bang Chicken — those would be my recommendations if it’s your first visit! And I have to give the service its own shoutout because it was genuinely some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at a restaurant in a while. Everyone was incredibly attentive, and they even surprised us with dessert at the end of dinner 🥹 They’ve got 4.9 Stars and 10,000+ Google Reviews in just over 2 years, and of course I see why! Our First Visit to JOEY Maple was a night of waiting and disappointment. What should have been an extraordinary ladies’ night turned into an evening of disappointment. Our waitress was so noticeably absent throughout the night that I’ll simply refer to her as “MIA.” Her lack of attentiveness was unacceptable. We repeatedly found ourselves flagging down other employees to clear our table, box up appetizers, and assist us with ordering our entrées. Although our appetizers arrived hot and delicious, the excitement quickly faded when my 22-ounce steak arrived lukewarm and my sides were cold. At that point, I couldn't help but wonder how long my meal had been sitting before it reached our table. Completely disappointed, I requested our check. Despite the poor service, I still left a 20% tip out of consideration for the current economy, although I genuinely questioned rewarding such inattentive service. As we were leaving, it dawned on me that we hadn't even been offered dessert! Why? Because our waitress was once again MIA. Her explanations of “I was in the restroom” and “You're my last table” did little to justify an entire evening of neglect. Being the last table should not mean receiving the least attention. On a positive note, JOEY Maple is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and an excellent music selection. Unfortunately, beautiful surroundings cannot compensate for poor service and improperly served food. What could have been a memorable first experience was reduced to an evening of waiting, frustration, and mediocrity. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected much better.

We were treated like VIP’s amazing service from the team from the front greater all the way to the servers everyone was so nice and made our friends birthday an unforgettable experience!!

Very attentive wait staff and manager. Every single employee was smiling and welcoming. Even the gentleman holding the door and the hostess were awesome. Definitely checked all the boxes and food was delicious!

Always nice to be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine. Service was very attentive and polite. The lettuce wraps and gyoza were tasty. The crab dip needed a lot more crab especially at that price. Filet with the lobster pasta was well liked. The chicken fajitas probably need to be a little more traditional. The carbonara was a little over smoked but over all a good entree. Desserts were a little sweet but delicious. I feel the wine selection needs more fine wines at lower price points. Overall a great time was had.

The ambiance was super fun on the beautiful night of our reservation. The food was good but I think we should have ordered the steak. Folks seemed to be really enjoying that much more than what we ordered. It should be noted the sushi was great! My only complaint was the number of staff members assembled near us and the check ins were intrusive and distracting. I came to spend the evening with friends but the staff interrupted us no less than 10 x. I appreciate the attention to detail but that was over the top. Let the food and ambiance speak for itself.
