    We had a beautiful evening the hostess was superb the food outstanding...I have absolutely nothing wrong to say about Heartland. What was irritating was the table of four beside us that had no idea of dining etiquette.. They were extremely loud, more for a "bar" setting than experiencing a lovely meal. Heartland in itself was a definite 5/5.

    I recently had a business meeting at Heartland Cafe. The atmosphere is perfect — cozy yet professional. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the soup of the day with the signature chicken brie sandwich. If you're looking for a place in town that's perfect for both business and classy dining, Heartland Cafe is definitely worth checking out.

    A Day of Culinary Magic We’ve been to Heartland a few times before, but today was truly special. My husband and I went for brunch, and everything—from the food to the service—was exceptional. Kitti, our server, was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. While the ambiance is stunning, it’s the thoughtful dishes and outstanding service that make Heartland unforgettable. Brunch began with excellent coffee—espresso for him and cappuccino for me. My husband’s chicken sandwich featured crispy baguette, baked chicken, smoky bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes—simple and delicious. I had the eggs benedict with rich, homemade hollandaise. The creamy green bean soup was rustic and comforting, while the strawberry champagne cheesecake was creamy, not overly sweet, and perfect. Kitti suggested we try the mulled wine, which was incredible—brimming with warm flavors of brandy, cloves, and nutmeg. Encouraged by Kitti, we returned for dinner and were not disappointed. We started with warm baguette served with herb garlic butter and parsley oil—a lovely touch. The bison tartare, balanced with truffle mayo and crispy parsnip chips, was unexpectedly tender and flavorful. Another standout was the vegetable zacusca—a smoky, tangy mix of roasted eggplant, red bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, and smoked paprika, served with crispy toast. For my main, Kitti recommended the spinach gnocchi with butternut squash sauce, smoked duck breast, and goat cheese. The gnocchi were buttery and soft, the sauce silky and nostalgic, and the smoked duck added just the right touch of richness. My husband’s barramundi special, served with mussel sauce, green pea purée, and butternut squash gnocchi, was flawless—light, flaky, and brightened by a lemony sauce. Dessert was the perfect finale: whipped lemon lavender cheesecake and orange blackberry panna cotta, both light and refreshing. Heartland, with its stunning ambiance, delicious dishes, and Kitti’s impeccable service, gave us a day to remember.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the Heartland. The environment was so unique. We loved the character of the building. The food was above average with prices in the decent range. Our server was very professional and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. All qualities that added up to a great experience for our group.
