Ciao for Now is a family-owned and operated catering company and restaurant that has been proudly serving New York City for over 17 years. Our family is committed to providing our customers with healthy and delicious menus that include vegan and gluten-free options. We source local fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and free-range meats whenever possible. We also use biodegradable paper and plastic products and compost all food waste because community consciousness helps everyone. We are located in the heart of the east village and serve breakfast, lunch, pastries and brunch on the weekends.

Ciao For Now is a narrow little neighborhood oasis on E 12th St between A and B. If you're looking for a place that isn't trying too hard to be cool, and as a result is super cool, this is it. Go see them.

Reserved a table for a birthday brunch -- it was ready when we arrived with a group of 7 in a smallish place. Creative brunch menu was well executed, with good service. Would certainly go again.

Really enjoyed the menu items as well as the service and size of the restaurant. I had homemade biscuit with an egg scramble and it was very good. It was a great place for us to sit and relax a little after walking and sightseeing.

I've eaten here several times for brunch and always enjoyed the food. I've been wanting to try Ciao for Now! for dinner since they began serving on the weekend. A small group of us went to celebrate my birthday, and it was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff was very attentive, and the owner even gave us a free dessert! Three of us had the drunken shrimp, which was excellent. My partner had the burger, and it was also delicious. Another plus was that it wasn't so noisy as many other places in the area, which made it much easier to have a conversation. Overall, we each enjoyed our meals, had a great time, and didn't break the bank to pay for dinner.
