We ordered 5 different dishes and each one was incredible. Literally no notes! Our server Helene was amazing and brought complimentary glasses of wine to the table after confirming we were celebrating a special occasion. We were extremely happy with the beautiful, upbeat atmosphere and excellent service. The food was amazing; we especially enjoyed the Eggplant and Zucchini Pie appetizer and beet salad--both exceptional. We learned why it is touted as the No. 1 Italian restaurant in Nashville and highly recommend it. It's also very easy to find off the I-40 freeway with a direct exit to Demonbreun and short distance to 12th Street. The valet parking is right in front, but it was occupied when we arrived, so we ended up at paid parking around the corner (right side of restaurant). The atmosphere was comfortable yet refined, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. The food was great and at a good price point for downtown Nashville. My wife went with the Brentwood Chicken sandwich and fries and I had the chicken fried chicken .We also had two appetizers the volcano shrimp and chicken pot stickers which were both excellent!
