Koshō Restaurant at The Barlow is a modern Japanese and sushi restaurant in Sebastopol with a progressive focus on food, local ingredients, and sustainability. We utilize local purveyors for fresh produce and meats as well as national and international providers for fresh seafood and sushi grade fish. Koshō derives its moniker from the condiment of the same name, Yuzu Koshō. Known for its spicy, acidic and balanced nature, it appears throughout the menu in various forms; including Meyer lemon, grapefruit, and satsuma orange koshō. Inspired by Italy’s aperitivo hour, when public squares and streets are filled with lively conversation, Portico serves handmade and authentic Italian fare in Sebastopol in western Sonoma County.A portico is a colonnade or covered walkway in classical architecture. Since the middle ages the elegant porticos of Bologna, Italy have a meeting place for the public as well as a place for business. Paolo Pedrinazzi (who is from Bologna) and Kat Escamilla, owners of the new Portico trattoria , bring this experience to Sebastopol. They even have monthly Regional dinner parties with live jazz.The setting includes an Italian fountain on their cozy patio. Portico offers light table service and counter ordering. Excellent Italian wines are sold in the restaurant at retail pricing; refreshingly unpretentious. The menu features an array of antipasti, handmade egg pasta, gluten free risottos, Bolognese lasagna, tiramisu, and baked goods . A market in the front is stocked with take-n-bake entrees

    Absolutely amazing dining experience, for our very special anniversary celebration. The food was exquisite, can't begin to describe the delicate nuances of flavors and textures in every single creation in every one of the 10 courses. The service was perfect -- friendly and competent, but not overbearing or intrusive. Our sommelier recommended a choice that was precisely what we were looking for. The ambiance is beautiful and soothing, I believe mostly inspired by Japanese sensibilities. The dishware and cutlery and presentation of every course, is breathtaking. Highly recommend!, and we hope to return soon to try the (scaled-down) luncheon menu. Thank you, Single Thread krewe!

    We were at Sweet T’s for a birthday celebration. The hostesses, wait staff and others were fantastic. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Our wait staff, Thomas, was great! Will highly recommend Sweet T’s for casual as well as special occasion dining. The food was great! Reminded me of being back home for good Southern dining!

    Modern and comfortable dining room and lounge with spectacular view of Bodega Bay - outdoor dining and drinks with fire pits as well but inside seating is a panoramic view of the water. Food and drinks are excellent and reasonably priced with great service. The bar area is lovely for a drink to watch the sunset. An all-around great feeling place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

    We had a wonderful weekend here. The highlight was the dinner on Friday night. So good! We shared several plates and loved everything! The tuna tostada a was amazing! The sourdough bread with dill butter was incredible. We shared the polenta, a gorgeous salad and the chicken with mushrooms. Best meal we’ve had in a long time. We ate on the dog friendly patio and we were grateful for the heaters. It was lovely!
