Sustainability is a core focus of many restaurants across the country, and some of the most committed are recognized as ocean-friendly by the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the protection of the world's ocean, waves, and beaches. Those restaurants must meet strict criteria, ranging from using proper recycling methods to eliminating plastic bags, straws, and utensils. Read on for which OpenTable restaurants are a part of the ocean-friendly program, and consider patronizing to contribute a small part of helping preserve the planet.

During these trying times, we are trying to adjust our service so that customers feel safe but still have a great Ki's experience. Daytime service is as it always has been: order at the counter and the food will be brought to you in the seating area we have created outside under the tents. Night-time is full service. Sunday through Thursday is upstairs. The tables are spaced far apart and there is an option of being out on the front deck for parties of two. On Friday and Saturday, we will be offering full service in both seating areas of upstairs and under the tents outside.
Ki's is a perfect fit for its local beach community culture. We provide food options that serve the needs of people who enjoy the outdoors and have a high degree of awareness for their health, fitness and well being. Azabu Miami Beach is Japanese concept where guests can enjoy an intimate dining experience. Originating in NYC, as Sushi Azabu in Tribeca, the Azabu brand has been awarded a Michelin Star for six consecutive years and is now excited to bring its culinary expertise to the heart of vibrant Miami Beach in the South of Fifth neighborhood. The Miami restaurant will be composed of two Japanese culinary concepts – the main dining being a robata concept and the hidden room in the back called 'The Den' a Michelin Star, serving only authentic Japanese sushi.

The menu will feature innovative dishes curated especially for Miami by using exclusively sourced ingredients. The hidden sushi room will feature authentic sushi in Omakase style, where sushi chefs will guide guests through a true experience.

It's our commitment to our guests to keep things interesting, innovative, wholesome and thoughtfully sourced. That's why we've formalized our relationship with the Monterey Bay Seafood Aquarium's Seafood Watch, James Beard Foundation's Smart Catch and the Surfrider Foundation by becoming a partner and bringing on a director of sustainability to help steward these efforts.

We will be following the most stringent protocols on cleaning, sanitization, social distancing, and protections for employee health including temperature taking and the use of protective masks and gloves.
