Designed by Rockwell Group, TAO Downtown offers a distinct sense of arrival and discovery and is the first TAO venue where guests descend into a multi-level space. The subterranean restaurant, located in the heart of Chelsea, is intended to look and feel as if it has been there for decades and only unearthed recently to reveal the artifacts within. Upon arrival, guests immediately encounter a long corridor with a dragon scale patterned screen and Chinese calligraphy murals mounted on weathered brick walls.

San Sabino is an Italian-American seafood restaurant from the wife and husband chef team behind Don Angie -- Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli -- in partnership with Quality Branded.Angie and Scott opened Don Angie in 2018 to tremendous critical acclaim, and quickly became known for boldly unexpected dishes that challenge your perception of traditional Italian-American cooking. Six years later and just a few doors down from Don Angie, they've now opened their second restaurant, San Sabino. Named after Scott’s grandfather (from Sanza, Italy, where most people are named after the patron saint Sabino), San Sabino offers a playful spin on Italian dishes from Shrimp Parm to Pasta Alle Vongole, with bold twists influenced by coastal American cities where many Italians settled, from New Orleans to the Jersey Shore.

    Excellent! Seth provided great service and all the food - oysters, frittelle, spicy tuna arancini, lobster pasta, trout and pasta con vongole - was amazing! Can’t forget the dessert; Delicious!

    What a wonderful dining experience! We celebrated my birthday here on Saturday, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the ambiance was just right—elegant, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. Every detail made the evening feel memorable. It was truly a lovely way to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

    Our experience was the best ever from the beginning to the end. Ariel was our service man that make us feel like family. The place transfer us back to Asia. The music the place and staff was perfect and the manager always on point making sure that everyone was having a great experience. Thank you we will come back soon.
