Beautiful ambiance and love the aesthetics of this restaurant! Everyone that worked there was so kind with sincere smiles and excellent service! The food presentation was beautiful and unique, Delicious food and drinks, and definitely recommend coming here!

Very pleasant. We were seated in an out of the way booth. There were two groups setting near us but we could hardly hear them. The cocktail s were perfect. We started with an interesting and tasty appetizer of clams with garlic and andoli sausage. My wife had the fresh dungeoness crap: messy and delicious. I had the scallops, grilled to perfection and served with colorful carrots. The carrots were seasoned well and cooked just right. The only complaint was the crème brûlée was slightly over crystallized leaving a bitter aftertaste, but my key lime pie was excellent. Overall a lovely dining experience.

We celebrated my teen's milestone birthday on a rainy Tuesday evening thinking that surely it would be a quiet dinner. It turned out to be a busy night with multiple company gatherings with a table for 16 or more. However, we got there early enough to be seated, our orders taken quickly, and served without any hitches. The service was fantastic even though the staff had a full guest list. The steaks were served perfectly as we had requested. The sides were piping hop and yummy. Our drinks were always full. The last course of cake and ice cream, Mastro's signature dessert was incredibly delicious. The staff and chefs did an amazing job, especially with a full house. They were all very impressive and well coordinated in their level of service. My teen was overall content with his entire meal and experience. Although the noise level was higher than I expected from fine dining. It was tempered by an entertaining performer with a beautiful voice. Her voice was on the level of the next "American Idol". I have to say her performance was quite unexpected for live music. Our party of three had a great time as a family celebrating the one day when we are 16 only one year. A very happy birthday indeed!

Excellent dining experience. Beautiful oceanfront setting. Attentive service! We started with the soup-a clam chowder, followed by Blue clam and rack of lamb dinners. The presentation and our menus were outstanding. We were too full for dessert, but look forward to a return visit!! Mako never disappoints!
