I like the vibe and ambience of the restaurant and requested a seat by a window to help manage the acoustics with my impaired hearing. My friend had the halibut and I had the scallops and we both thought our meals were excellent. We indulged in dessert and I ate a whole chocolate hazelnut torte by myself, which is highly unusual. The table was fantastic great view of the falls. Our server was Mike E, he is our favorite! True professional he is willing to bend the menu to get us what we want. Attentive but not pushy. I had the smoke and bourbon, prepped at the table. I had the duck special with maple mashed sweet potatoes and a citrus/cranberry sauce and it was prepared perfectly. I haven’t had this good of a meal in a long time. The manager was helping flip tables as well, and later, even saw him restocking the restroom.
