Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris.     La Grande Boucherie in DC offers a stunning dining experience with incredible food and beautiful decor that truly set the mood. We started with the duck prosciutto, which was a deliciously unique appetizer. For our main courses, we enjoyed the steak frites and the French dip sandwich—both were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and attentive, though we would have appreciated being checked on a bit more throughout the meal. Overall, it was a lovely evening, and we’re excited to return for another visit!

    Second time returning to Zaytinya and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very busy and a bit chaotic to walk over to restrooms, but the service was great.

    If you can get a reservation, Christmas time at Filomena’s is the best. Definitely puts you in the holiday mood and it is super festive. The food portions are huge, so be ready to take some food home and everything was delicious. I especially like the pasta à la vodka as it is super tasty.

    Such a beautiful restaurant with all of the beautiful woodwork and art. Very comforting to eat there. The service and food is great. My waitress actually helped me find my phone after i left it and someone turned it in. The Bronzino was delicious.

    Huge place. Energetic! Fun ! Great good. Attentive service. (One odd thing , but otherwise fun and great: I ordered White Anchovies for an appetizer from the Tin menu. They brought me Sardines in spicy olive oil in a Tin. I explained that I ordered anchovies, but they insisted that the sardines in front of me were actually anchovies. Dudes: I eat white anchovies twice a week, I know the difference. Weird try at Gaslighting me. No apology. No offer to take them back. My dining companion ate them…even though they are allergic to anchovies. Ha!😀)
