Canton Disco is a restaurant and bar in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C. (1025 1st St SE). It’s a Cantonese-inspired all-day café and dining spot that transitions into a full-service restaurant and bar in the evenings. Chef Timothy Yu, whose family ran the famed Hollywood East in Wheaton, MD, is carrying on part of its legacy with Canton Disco in collaboration with Side Door Pizza owner Brian Schram and Maxwell Park owner Brent Kroll. Yu’s menu is very much his own, but he will be incorporating some family recipes such as the XO sauce in typhoon shelter shrimp. He’ll also use his family’s char siu marinade, but his version of the barbecued pork dish is finished on a binchotan charcoal grill with a maltose glaze.

ANY DAY NOW is a Dual concept casual and comforting space from celebrated chef and restaurateur Tim Ma. In a nod to the current ways in which we live and work, Any Day Now welcomes guests for breakfast, lunch and coffee in a coworking-friendly space during the day, then transitions to a full-service restaurant and bar at night with creative takes on the intersection of American and global cuisines. During Breakfast & Lunch hours, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, we welcome guests to join us at anytime, order at the counter and grab any table, bar stool, or comfy chair for seating. We accept reservation for dinner service, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

    My husband and I had a wonderful time at Smoke & Mirrors. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed.     ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Food and Exceptional Service! What a fantastic dining experience at Old Ebbitt Grill in Washington, D.C.! Our entire group absolutely loved it! The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was nothing short of outstanding. A special shout-out to our server, Stephan, who was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Great service can truly elevate a meal, and Stephanie certainly delivered! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Old Ebbitt Grill absolutely lived up to its reputation, and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommend! And if you’re lucky enough to have Stephanie as your server, you’re in great hands!

    We were there to celebrate a birthday. We didn’t know there was going to be another birthday celebration with about 75 people. Way too noisy for us. But of course Myra was wonderful!
