Crowbar Sydney, is an independent, family owned live music venue. Opening in 2018 as an addition to the East Coast touring circuit with sister venue Crowbar Brisbane established in 2012. Crowbar has always strived to support artists from the ground up, providing a platform for emerging local and national acts, showcasing growing Australian and international talent and hosting secret shows, after parties, album release parties and more. Crowbar hosts 800+ bands each year. Curating events ourselves and working alongside a network of promoters and booking agents on a local, national and international level. Supporting Australian live music is at the core of Crowbar, we aim to remain and grow as a key player in the ecosystem of the Australian live music scene.We strive to create a safe and inclusive space for artists and their teams, patrons, our staff and the community to provide quality events of a world class standard.Bookings must be made by 4pm on day of booking.

Sixpenny was founded in March 2012 and is named after the Sixpence restaurants that operated in Australia in the late 1800s. Located at the top end of Stanmore Village, Sixpenny is housed in a historic building on Percival Road, which was erected in 1907.Chefs Daniel Puskas and Tony Schifilliti lead the kitchen in utilising local suppliers, growers and producers to focus on creating a narrative around all things that make up Australia.We have chosen to offer a tasting menu to all guests. We collaborate with small-scale farmers, fishermen, and producers to create a progressional offering influenced by the seasons.

Not content with simply laying on Mediterranean cuisine as so many other eateries do, Georgia’s Koutouki (a ‘koutouki’ is a chilled out taverna-style bar and restaurant) is a Leichhardt cultural embassy that promises mezze and music, courtesy of Georgia’s network of local and touring Greek blues musicians. Here, you can take in traditional and contemporary laika and rembetika tunes while you indulge in the communal dining experience.

    What a wonderful experience. Had a lunch at 2pm. Was noisy at first but then subsided. Beautiful table under the bougainvillea. Super friendly, attentive and professional staff. Sensational food ! Don't miss the lamb, the fried potato chunky chips and the spanokopita. Desserts were dreamy... we loved the frozen yoghurt and the chocolate and citrus cake. Had the Olympus house white blend which was crisp and pared perfectly through the richness of the meals. Easy, free 2 hour parking underneath. What an amazing team they have there. Don't miss this !

    This is an old pub. To be honest, it has seen better days. The visit, however, was so lovely. We were greeted warmly by the delightful bar staff, and the burgers were delicious. Total value for money. Highly recommend.

    Great local joint. Good food, especially for meat eaters (quite limited for vegetarians / vegans). Service was a little slow but very friendly. Recommend.
