Hidden among the winding streets of Mykonos, I found exactly what I had been hoping to experience in Greece. Amades is the definition of an off-the-beaten-path gem, a place that feels untouched by the crowds and deeply connected to authentic Greek culture. The atmosphere feels like something out of a storybook: charming, intimate, and full of character, with the kind of warmth that immediately makes you want to linger for hours. The food was, without exaggeration, some of the best Greek food I have ever had. Every dish tasted homemade, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with flavor. As vegetarians, we often expect to have limited choices when traveling, but that couldn’t have been further from our experience here. The menu offered plenty of incredible vegetarian options, and every dish we tried was memorable. The meal was so exceptional that it’s one we’ll remember forever. I can honestly say I would return to Mykonos just for this little restaurant. If you’re looking for authentic Greek food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that feels straight out of a novel, Amades is an absolute must-visit. It wasn’t just my favorite meal in Mykonos; it was one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. Five stars without hesitation!!!!!!

Excellent service ,excellent food , fantastic views .Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable . Every dish was a work of art to look at and tasted better! The extra treats were much appreciated and added greatly to the experience!
