Dal 1949, nello storico Palazzo della Zecca, si trova il ristorante Rodrigo, in pieno centro, a 100 metri da piazza Maggiore, a Bologna. Il locale è frequentato da attori, politici, industriali e note personalità. Le specialità, tipicamente bolognesi proposte alla clientela sono: tortellini, tortelloni, tagliatelle, tagliolini, passatelli in brodo, pasta e fagioli, tutta la pasta viene preparata artigianalmente in casa, oltre a quelle secche con vari condimenti. Come secondi, il ristorante dispone di tante qualità di carni elaborate o alla brace, con funghi e tartufi freschi in stagione. Vasto assortimento di pesce fresco tutti i giorni, dagli antipasti, alla pasta, ai secondi. Come dessert, frutta e dolci secondo le stagioni. Vastissima enoteca di vini italiani ed esteri; grandissimo assortimento di cognac, brandy, whisky e grappe.

Il ristorante Sücar Brüsc, nato a Marzo 2019, vuole trasmettere la “mantovanità” a tavola ed anche nel suo ambiente; per esempio, sui pannelli a soffitto della prima sala d’ingresso, vi sono alcuni tra i detti locali più comuni e nella nuova sala (inaugurata a Dicembre 2021) risaltano invece termini dialettali con la loro rispettiva traduzione in italiano.​Inoltre, vista la “vastità” del territorio mantovano... su alcune pareti del ristorante si trovano affissi 18 diversi orologi, riportanti i “fusi orari” dei quartieri che circondano il centro storico ed insieme formano la nostra splendida città. …qui ci “fermiamo” ma… se siete ancora più curiosi, chiedeteci di approfondire insieme!
