Anniversary dinner in Edinburgh was pretty much perfect - nice ambiance and great food ! Also we had Giovanni, a very pleasant waiter. We tried several dishes - duck salad, zucchini fritti, squid, fish and chips, and an excellent Shepard pie.

From start to finish the service was excellent. I was quickly seated and offered a drink while I waited for my friends. The restuarant was lovely and warm which was great as it was only 3 degrees outside. The menu was fully discussed with us and the food came quickly and it was nice and hot. Nice variety of food and good quality produce. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, they were friendly and helpful. I would definitely eat there again and recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Was attended to the minute we arrived showed to our table and left to choose ordered our drinks and later our food food was hot excellent and tasted as good as it looked

I always look forward to going to the Hawkmoor in Edinburgh, and I am never disappointed. Superb food, lovely people and a really nice place to spend an evening. Just brilliant.
