This premier Steakhouse embodies the heart of Orlando's historic district, featuring chic and elegant décor within the striking architecture of a 1930's landmark. A thoughtful layout with luxurious banquettes and private dining options create an intimate dining atmosphere.

We love to go to Kress. Everything is perfect from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. The Greeters are friendly and polite. Our server, Ronny, is the best. He ensures all the time that we feel good and we are comfortable w/o being intrusive. AND THE FOOD. We order from the Vegan menu and the Chef is a magician. Everything that we have tried from the first day we have been coming to Kres has been perfect and more .. Chef Jen is the best!

The food is really good and the decor is nice. Unfortunately the bar are was a little off, due to the drunk woman that had to be helped out by her significant other and another strange or intoxicated guy walking around at one point. He hooked up with his date and shuffled out thankfully. There were also younger adults and teens that kept coming in and going somewhere in the back of the restaurant. They were dressed for the club vs an upscale dinner. I’m not sure if there’s a club inside, but it is several “kids”. All in all, it just seemed to clash with the idea of sitting down to eat in an upscale steakhouse.

Even with reservation we still had to wait 15 mins,, when we got to the table we waited another 10 mins for drinks . We choose to order food at the same time because we did not know when the waiter would be back The food is good

Kres is my go-to downtown restaurant for work lunches. Usually, food and service are amazing. However, during my last visit on Tuesday, the food was not hot, the burger one of my colleagues ordered was dry and overcooked. The chicken on the caprese was burned. Very disappointing. Hopefully, this was a fluke and will not be repeated again.
