For parties of six or more, please call the restaurant directly.Since 1965, Joe Allen has been a quintessential New York restaurant serving a classic American menu in the heart of the Theater District. Just two blocks from Times Square, it has been a favorite of Broadway performers, locals, and tourists for almost 50 years.We begin taking reservations seven days in advance starting at midnight online and at 11 a.m. over the phone.     The waiting is really great and very attentive; you don't feel rushed, and the food was very good. The past options were fine but not as creative as they used to be. The table was not far from the door which meant a cold draft whenever someone entered the restaurant so next time, I will request a table away from the entrance if dining there in the cold months. Overall, the meal was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

    We shared a dish of penne with marinara sauce and added in some chicken for an addtl charge . Everything was so delicious. The portions are absolutely huge. They bring a great bread basket to the table with a variety of homemade breads - all delicious as well. Prices are reasonable considering the portions and quality. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. You won’t be sorry.

    Off the bat our server Nicole was such a delight. We had an amazing meal consisting of the best tasting mussels as an appetizer. My wife had the NY strip steak and I myself had the duck l’orange. It was all so delicious. We cannot wait to return!!

    We wanted a great Thanksgiving dinner, and this restaurant served up that in spades! Escargot was phenomenal, grilled octopus likewise. The four of us had different entrees, but all of the dishes were beyond delicious. Dessert and coffee finished upone of the most enjoyable meals we’ve had in a long time. Marseille has a wonderful staff who understand timing and don’t rush you, too, which is equally as important when you want a great dining experience.
