Exceptional friendly and attentive service from Darla and Nicole. Our water glasses and coffees were refilled with every sip. The Rockefeller soup and Crabcakes Benedict were prepared and presented perfectly. And the peach cobbler and ice cream concluded the awesome experience.

This place is legend, and lives up to its long-standing reputation as a truly special, charming, and fun experience! We had a delightful time, enhanced most of all by the elegant, yet warm, attentive service. The four of us very much enjoyed all of the dishes, including my husband's shrimp remoulaude starter. Also loved the ricotta gnudi -- soft, silken pillows with eggplant, as well as the chopped salad, the Cornish hen, the oyster j'aime, and the deserts,... all delicious. We enjoyed the experience of sharing the scent-sational London cocktail, poured from a gilded teapot into delicate teacups.

Dinner at GW Fins was outstanding as always. We booked a reservation to celebrate our anniversary. The table was decorated with confetti and a souvenir menu. Before dinner we were served the famous warm GW Fins biscuits. They are legendary. My husband can't get enough of them. We shared the Lobster Ravioli appetizer which was delicate and delicious. My husband had the Lobster Bisque, which he always enjoys. For dinner, I had the Parmesan crusted Sheepshead and my husband had his favorite, the Scalibut. Both were delicious. For dessert we share a Creme Brule. The Creme Brule is classic Creme Brule and kudos to the chef for preparing it perfectly. The staff was attentive and friendly. Felix was our waiter and did a fantastic job. We were also served complimentary chocolate truffles and a server, Kenny regaled us with a Happy Anniversary song. GW Fins was recently remodeled, and the new decor is beautiful.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in New Orleans, Muriel’s Jackson Square is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was nothing short of magical—an elegant mix of history, charm, and a touch of mystery that perfectly embodies the spirit of the French Quarter. I started with the Shrimp and Goat Cheese Crepes, and they were nothing short of divine. The crepes were delicate and light, perfectly complementing the rich, creamy goat cheese filling. The shrimp were tender and fresh, and the dish was elevated by a luxurious sauce that brought all the flavors together in perfect harmony. It was the kind of dish that leaves you wanting more, but also perfectly satisfies. For the main course, I indulged in the Wood Grilled Filet Mignon, and it was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender and full of flavor, with that perfect char from the wood grill adding a smoky depth that took the dish to another level. The accompaniments were equally impressive, enhancing but never overshadowing the star of the show. Service was impeccable throughout the meal—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Every moment felt special, from the beautifully crafted cocktails to the desserts I regrettably had no room left to try. Muriel’s Jackson Square is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. The food, the atmosphere, the service—it all comes together to create an unforgettable evening. If you’re in New Orleans, dining here is an absolute must.

This is one of our family's favorite restaurants. I love it, my wife loves it, my kids love it, my parents love it... it's a New Orleans classic. My wife is from out of town, and when we were dating, I brought her here for our fist date in New Orleans. We almost ALWAYS get the barbecued shrimp. While this dish was invented by another great local restaurant, Mr. B's PERFECTED it. The service is always great, and if you're looking for something sweet and boozy, get a brandy milk punch.
