This is one my go-to places for both business and personal dinners. The ambiance is very comfortable, and the service is just right -- attentive when you need them, invisible when you don't. The food has always been terrific, based as much as possible on locally sourced ingredients, with a menu that offers something for virtually any palate. They are very attentive to food allergies and offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, as well. Anything with mushrooms is likely to be a highlight of your meal. There's an interesting list of wines, beers, and cocktails, as well. The restaurant wasn't busy this time around, so the sound level was ideal for business conversation. If the place is full, it's still not raucous.

we love going there. It’s always a great experience. They’re so personable and make sure everyone is happy. We had a birthday, and they definitely made it fun with a candle and everyone sang.

Seating was quick and easy upon checking in. All of the staff were kind and courteous. Our server was attentive and repeatedly came over to our table to see if we needed anything. The food was good. I ordered the hot shrimp and salmon sandwich and thought both were good. Our table split 2 orders of crab fries because you can’t go to chickies and not get crab fries, they’re always good.
