My friend did a bit of research to find this restaurant. It received rave reviews, so we decided to find out for ourselves. While it took us a bit to find the cute, cozy spot, it was worth the search. Immediately upon entering, you felt like walking into someone's home. We were seated at the bar, next to the chef's cooking area - loved the warmth from the flames. We started with a tasty apple type ale and a glass of riesling. My husband said his meal was the best he has ever had. This is a huge compliment as he is very picky and loves his tenderloin well cooked. It was artfully served with truffle mushrooms. I had the cod - a bit dry for my taste, but loved the entire meal. We topped it off with a blackberry crumble. Just the right size to address your sweet tooth. The bartender and wait staff were attentive with just the right amount of engagement. We will return with our friends!! Thank you for a lovely meal.
