Our newly constructed event venue and restaurant beautifully reflects the exposed timber frame architecture of the 18th-century building that once stood on this very site. In fact, it was this significance that led the British Royal Navy to launch an attack here via the S.S. Nimrod on June 13, 1814.

    Such friendly servers, a beautiful room, acoustics are great so conversation is easy. Food was delicious from start to finish. The arugula salad was lovely and large enough to share for three people - same for focaccia and hummus. Cioppino and halibut both fantastic. Perfect dining experience.

    We ended up eating in the dining room because of the heat. We sat next to windows with panoramic views of a fountain and lush wall of greenery. A very serene environment. Our waitress was patient and knowledgeable and our food was very well prepared. The carpeting keeps the room quiet and the restaurant was a nice reprieve from the Cape summer crowds.

    Amazing food and service. The ambiance of such an old historic location is also great. We had an infant with us and there were no issues with them accommodating us and they tucked us back on a nice quiet corner which was perfect.

    I am a foodie, and rarely give all stars. The food was excellent -one had a burger, one had a brisket ..something, one had the strawberry salad with chicken and I had the seared tuna. It was done perfectly and I added chicken for more protein. Waiter was fabulous. Highly recommend
