Food and drinks amazing. Staff lovely and great service. Very loud but that’s to be expected when it’s a full house and mostly younger crowd. We were there for my daughter’s 18th and even her grandparents loved the food so it’s not just for the young ones although, once again, it is loud. Super accommodating bringing out the cake with candles, plates, forks, and chef knife. Keen to go back and try some of the dishes we didn’t have.

Love Merricks, simple menu but provides a broad range of tastes and flavours. We decided to share the starters as one of us is Pescatarian. Really love this way of sharing food, everything was delicious. The mains were outstanding, just the right amount and. sensible sides to keep you satisfied but not to take away for more in the desert menu. The wine selection is really good, plenty of choice to keep everyone happy. Prices are really satisfactory with choice of quite high end if you want it. Table service was spot on, ourn third time at Merricks General Store and the staff young and old are amazing. Need to do a dinner here next.

A brilliant dinner with quality food where the service was superb. VERY kind staff who did the little things so well. Smiles...enthusiasm....my mum asked for some ice cubes for her wine...no trouble at all. You could tell all staff cared!

Thank you to the staff for their friendly and prompt service, we felt well looked after and the meal was delicious. The venue was clean and the menu had a good selection and was well priced. We enjoyed our visit very much! 🤩
