Daisy, her team, and the food are all absolutely incredible!

The kitchen here is outstanding! The large menu strides the landscape from burgers and spaghetti and meatballs to ginormous (32 oz!) steaks and fresh seafood. We chose to stick with traditional Italian dishes from their extensive selection. Our bolognese ($37.50) was rich and flavorful, served really hot in a deep bowl which kept the pasta and sauce warm. Our Pescatore ($52) was worth its price. It included a lot of plump, fresh seafood (no fish filler) including a huge and delicious lobster claw. The Pescatore broth is pronounced and flavorful, well worth mopping up with the toasted Focaccia ($8) we'd ordered with our meal. Instead of choosing from their extensive selection of salads, we ordered the griliata di vegetale (grilled vegetables) ($19.50), which may have been the star of the show for us. Large fresh heirloom tomatoes, squash, onions, zucchini, garlic and more were served immediately off the grill, having been sauteed in a delicious balsamic mustard vinaigrette. Service was friendly, from greeting to farewell, though not "outstanding." (After enjoying our pescatore, for instance, including cracking open and manhandling the lobster claw, we had to request a hot, wet finger towel, which should have been automatic.) The atmosphere of Mi Piace is "large" and airy, with plenty of light entering through floor-to-ceiling windows on Colorado Boulevard, and maybe a bit stereotypical (Sinatra boomed from the overhead speakers until about 6:45pm, when the lights were dimmed and the music switched to jazz). The restaurant does not offer free parking, but there are plenty of pay-to-park opportunities across the alley behind the restaurant. Mi Piace is located in the heart of "old Pasadena," amid dozens of other eateries and upscale shops, all within easy walking distance. The Colorado Blvd historic storefront facades are worth taking in during an after-dinner stroll.

First time visit to Agnes and. It certainly will not be our last! The room is inviting and vibrant with happy customer, the service staff were attentive, and the food was outstanding!

Arrived at 9am on Sunday for brunch. Had our choice of tables. Enjoyed our favorite place in front of the fireplace. Everything was just right; food, service, ambiance and company. 😊

We had a wonderful experience at the Langham brunch. Such a beautiful location, wonderful friendly service , and delicious food. A great start to a very special day.
