My wife and I went for a quiet, mid-week dinner at Delaney's Tavern. We had reservations and upon arrival asked for a quiet location. We were placed in a second room away from the bar area and noticed they were setting up for a large party. Soon the manager came and asked if we wanted to move to a different table further away from the large party. We did this. When the large party arrived, they were very loud. Having a conversation with my wife was very difficult. The manager did his best to quiet the large party but they were there to have a good time and did not care about distracting others. The food was excellent! I had the wedge salad with grilled chicken, and it was superb! We shared the peach cobbler, very good! The manager was excellent and knew we were struggling with having a conversation. We appreciated his attentiveness. We will return and hopefully on a night without a loud, large party!

Felt like a little slice of Monaco in the middle of Florida! (seriously - having visited Monaco recently) Fabulous food and such a fun and festive place to celebrate a birthday with picky diners who were in my party - enjoyed every entree (salmon, gnocchi, skirt steak, Monaco chicken) - simply delicious! Could have ordered a lot more but we were trying to be good! Also - they surprised the birthday guy with an out of this world birthday treat which was PERFECT (some places hardly acknowledge when you say, this is our birthday guest, but they went all out - didn't even ask - just DID IT). BEST celebration - we will be back. LOVE Helena Modern Riviera. And it's gorgeous inside (and so was the beautiful Saturday night belly dancer - such a fun surprise!). Thanks for giving a memorable night out!
