Our food was excellent. We went on a Thursday night for buck-a-shuck and the oysters were delicious. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meals from the lobster fried rice, chicken katsu, scallop pon and some sushi. Definitely a must visit.

We had gnocchi with sausage ragu. The sausage was tender and tasty, the sauce excellent. My dinner companion, who was Italian, was very impressed with the sauce.

What can you say. Capital Grill sets the bar so high for even themselves on food quality and service. This never disappoints whether it is a small party of two or a room rental for 16. Every time I am in town, Hartford, we stop in because LiBeth is the best server in the entire country. Ask for her by name and I promise you won't be disappointed.

A Great dining experience. Sommelier had a great recommendation for our wine selection. Server was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was outstanding. The chef shared his passion for cooking as we could taste it in his amazing food. Every bite was a delicious journey of flavor. We will Definitely be back. We should probably keep this place the a secret but we cant help but compliment the people who deserve it. We are all in! Our new go to favorite experience.

Food was amazing as were the servers, owner who was on the premises. We had a sampling of various small plates, starters, entrees and incredible pasta - so flavorful and unique as one doesn't often get authentic swiss/italian/german style dishes done so masterfully. The raclette was the real deal, their own baked breads made me think I was back in Europe again, delicious wines that obviously are curated to enhance the dishes, fun cocktail list, and to top it off an amazing chocolate fondue that our party of 4 shared - it was hard to stop eating everything was so delicious. Definitely worth an evening and for the price of what one pays these days in restaurants - Alpina has a very high value to cost ratio in my book!
