Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. We have an outside terrace with heaters and umbrellas but of course, we can't promise the weather! If you book outside we can't guarantee a table inside if the weather changes.For those unable to eat-in, we offer our famous Paellas for takeaway at lunchtime Monday-Friday.Thank you for all your support and we look forward to welcoming you soon to this little bit of Spain in Waterloo.

    Lovely friendly welcome. Excellent spot with authentic Spanish atmosphere. Staff excellent, attentive and friendly without being overly familiar. Leyan was especially helpful with the menu and general hospitality. Food was superb. Chorizo, Patatas Bravas garlic prawns and some aubergine dish my wife ordered that was delicious. Was slightly nervous after reading recent reviews but was pleasantly surprised.

    The best thing about Vavi was the level of service - very responsive to an issue we had with one of the dishes, friendly, made us feel very welcome. The most disappointing bit was that several dishes on the menu were not available (chorizo in a tapas bar?) apparently due to imminent menu changes. The dishes we did have were good, particularly the tempura vegetables.
